Streamlining Amenity Management for a Modern Office Building.

Streamlining Amenity Management for a Modern Office Building.

Centerfield is a premium office building in South Korea, offering shared amenities like meeting rooms, locker rooms, and feeding rooms for tenant companies.

To simplify amenity management, my team developed a mobile app for users and an admin platform for managers to handle bookings and schedules.

I initially served as a Project Manager, leading the planning, workflows, and wireframes for the admin platform. Now, revisiting the project as a UX/UI Designer, I focused on redesigning the locker management system to improve usability and streamline workflows.

Confusing Tables and Tedious Navigation

Confusing Tables and Tedious Navigation.

The original system relied heavily on a table-based format with multiple paginations, making it difficult for managers to quickly check locker availability and status. This led to inefficiencies in the booking process, increasing the risk of errors and delays.

Two Key Booking Scenarios

Through analysis, I have identified two primary user scenarios for the locker booking process: users desiring a specific start date and users with a preference for a particular locker number

which may include the need for the earliest possible reservation.

3 Key Enhancements

The redesign introduced three key enhancements—a color-coded grid for quick status checks, streamlined booking steps, and an interactive calendar for easy reservations—making locker management faster, clearer, and more intuitive.

1. Color Coded Grid Format

Implemented a color-coded grid system for quick identification of locker statuses—available, booked, or under maintenance—allowing managers to assess status at a glance.

2. Simplified Booking Process

Reduces steps by enabling managers to select dates directly from the grid and input booking details in a single modal. This cuts down unnecessary navigation and speeds up reservations.

3. Calendar View for Availability

The calendar view provides a visual representation of availability for each locker, enabling managers to identify open slots quickly and book without navigating through multiple pages.
